Isabel Maria is a Dementia Resource Specialist at the North Central Texas Area Agency on Aging, where she leads initiatives that deliver in-home support and educational resources to both family and professional caregivers, as well as individuals living with dementia. Her bilingual (Spanish-English) outreach and culturally responsive programming have positioned her as a trusted advocate and educator across diverse communities.
She is the Founder of DFW Dementia Care Professional, LLC, where she provides dynamic, evidence-based training rooted in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® (PAC™). Her workshops combine sensory-deprivation experiences, brain health education, and hands-on skill-building to equip caregivers with practical strategies that improve the quality of dementia care.
In addition, Isabel serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Trinity Valley Community College, where she teaches dementia care techniques to emerging healthcare professionals and family caregivers. She is an active collaborator with organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and has contributed to regional conferences and seminars including Esperanza Para Mañana and Healthy Lives Matter.
Isabel holds multiple certifications, including PAC™ Certified Trainer and Consultant, Dementia Live Facilitator, and REACH Coach for Spanish-speaking caregivers. She earned her Master of Arts in Diplomacy from Norwich University and her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of South Florida.
